As early as you can! For birthdays and celebration cakes I’d suggest 2–4 weeks’ notice, and for weddings 2–3 months. That said, I keep a few slots for last-minute orders — it’s always worth asking, even at short notice.
Yes. Free local delivery is included, and I’m happy to travel further for weddings and larger cakes (a small mileage charge may apply). Tiered cakes are always delivered and set up by me to make sure they arrive perfectly.
Every cake is made to order, so price depends on size, detail and finish. As a guide, celebration cakes start at £55, cupcakes at £30 and wedding cakes at £150. You’ll get an exact quote with your enquiry — see the Menu & Pricing page for more.
Absolutely. Gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and vegan options are available on most cakes. Just let me know what you need when you enquire and I’ll talk you through the options.
I love a starting point! Send me any photos or a Pinterest board and I’ll use them as inspiration. Rather than copying another baker’s work exactly, I’ll design something in the same spirit that’s unique to you.
Once we’ve finalised your design and quote, a deposit secures your date, with the balance due before delivery. There’s no charge to enquire or to chat through ideas — you only pay once you’re happy to go ahead.
Most cakes are best kept somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight, and taken out of the fridge an hour or so before serving so the sponge is soft. I’ll give you tailored storage and cutting tips when your cake is delivered.
I’m based in Herefordshire and cover the surrounding local area as standard, with delivery further afield for weddings and special orders. If you’re not sure whether you’re in range, just ask.
